Stocked On Site

Buying supplements usually means guessing from a label or waiting on a delivery. At Personal Touch Fitness, we keep sports supplements on the shelf, so you can pick something up at the end of a session and ask what it's actually for before you do. The range covers protein powders, recovery products and pre-workout formulas from established brands, including Apollon Nutrition. Apollon was founded in Edison, New Jersey by Robert Samborsky, a former competitive fighter and gym owner, and Marina Samborsky, a qualified pharmacist (PharmD). Their formulas use fully disclosed ingredients dosed at clinically researched levels rather than proprietary blends, so you can see exactly what you're taking. We'll explain what each product is designed to do and where it fits alongside training, though supplements work best on top of consistent eating rather than in place of it, which is where our nutrition plans come in. Call in at our Salamander Bay gym, or ring 0438 696 925 to check what's in stock first.

What We Keep In Stock

The range is deliberately kept simple, covering the products members ask for most.

  1. 01

Protein powders. Whey and plant-based options for people who find it hard to reach their protein intake from meals alone.

  2. 02

Recovery products. Formulas taken after training, typically combining protein and carbohydrate, for members training on consecutive days.

  3. 03

Pre-workout formulas. Usually caffeine-based products taken before a session, which suit some people and not others depending on training time and tolerance.

  4. 04

Protein bars and snacks. Portable options for members who train straight after work and need something that travels well in a gym bag. We keep a few different formats so there's a choice beyond the one flavour everyone stocks.

Common questions

FAQs

No. Training consistently and eating well account for the overwhelming majority of results, and supplements sit on top of that rather than replacing it.

Whey comes from dairy and is absorbed quickly, while plant-based powders are usually blended from sources like pea and rice to provide a complete amino acid profile. Both can suit, depending on dietary preference and how the product agrees with you.

Timing matters less than total daily intake for most products, though pre-workout formulas are an obvious exception. Anyone taking medication or managing a health condition should check with their GP or pharmacist first.
